Hyosung was founded in 1966 and has grown to become one of the most prestigiousHyosung 2012 Full Product Line Brochure conglomerates in Korea.

The Motorcycle division was founded in 1978 and began producing Japanese Suzuki motorcycle designs under license in Changwon Korea. In 1986, Hyosung established their own research and development center. By the following year Hyosung began mass production of their own designs.

In 2007 the Hyosung Motors Division was acquired by S & T Group. Hyosung has imported small and mid-sized motorcycles into the US market for several years and enjoys a growing reputation for quality and value.
